Talar Medical

Talar is more than just a Group Purchasing Organization...

It's a place to prosper.

Join Talar

We are so happy you are here!

First, let us take a moment to explain how we work and why the process in the "How You Save" page will be so impactful to your practice.

Our roots are in the Podiatric profession, but as we have grown, we now have members in multiple specialties in nearly all fifty states.

We are a GPO (group purchasing organization.) Our mission is to provide the same cost savings that are offered to large practices, to even the smallest practice. How we do that is by negotiating contracts with vendors to offer savings to our members based on the number of members we have and the volume they order. When we say to you, that we are getting stronger one member at a time, please, understand that is not a marketing phrase. Each threshold we cross, brings us more bargaining power to save you more money. Each purchase you make with your membership works to drive down pricing in the future. This is possibly the most about-you organization you will ever join and if you work with us to utilize your membership, the benefits to you are just going to get better and better.

We currently have twenty-six existing vendors and are in negotiations with several others. Talar is a living breathing entity in that we are growing and changing all the time, to meet your needs. More than just a GPO, we offer education, free cost comparisons, advice on how to navigate the system to save as much as thirty percent on the total cost of doing business for your practice and we have a trained staff to connect you to the right vendor to get you what you need. We also have an extremely tight knit community and that allows us to connect you to just about anything you need, so don’t be afraid to speak up, if we can help you in any way, we will.

Supporting the Future of the Foot and Ankle Industry.

When you purchase through Talar Medical you are supporting the future of the Foot and Ankle Industry.  Talar proudly donates $50,000 annually to the fully endowed scholarship fund through the APMA Educational Foundation.  A portion of every purchase you make will go towards our next $25,000 donation.
